Kallie Dee Cook

Kallie was known for her huge heart, being adventurous, and always putting herself last. She touched the lives of so many people by going out of her way, having an open heart, and always seeking the positive.

Kallie Dee Cook of Nephi UT passed away while doing what she enjoyed. On August 22, 2023 Kallie was involved in a motorcycle incident that ended her time here on Earth with us too soon.

She was born in Nephi, UT in 1975 to Harvey Cook and Lila Marshall.

Kallie met the love of her life Rickie Lynn Swift in 2014. Many years later an “Old Crow and a Cute Chic” sign was displayed in their residence. Kallie and Rick worked together at Benson Trucking. They enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with their kids/ grandchildren.

Kallie was survived by Rickie Lynn Swift - the love of her life and her soulmate; her parents Harvey and (Lynette) Cook / Lila and (Vance) Marshall, her 3 sisters - Yancey Vanzelua, Malinda Allen, and Shannon Cook, her two children - Cole Lemon and Letesha Cook, her 4 grandchildren - Brody, Thomas, Lyric Lemon, and Myles Thompson. In addition several bonus children/grandchildren that she loved as her own.

Kallie was preceded in death by her stepmom Kristen Cook, grandparents Doyle and Jean Cook, Leroy and Lawana Stanley.

Kallie was a very adventurous person, kind hearted, she was known for going out of her way for everyone. Her nickname in the trucking industry became “Momma Kallie” because she was always putting others first and taking care. There will never be another mother/spouse/ grandmother so resilient, resolute, and respected. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, Rickie, drinking Natty lites, and just being positive. She is very loved within her family as well as the trucking industry.

She will be very missed here, however, the sacred light called her home. With a warm heart and so much respect we love and miss you.

There will be a viewing Friday, September 8, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home (94 West 300 North, Nephi).
