June Daugherty May

June Daugherty May was born in Belfry, Montana, on June 28, 1928, the third child born to Gilbert Ray Daugherty and Beulah May Philips. She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Clarks Fork River on August 31, 1947. She married Richard Allen "Dick" May on October 12, 1947, in Belfry and was sealed in the Logan, Utah, Temple on June 1, 1953. They were parents to five children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her son, Ricky, a brother, Tom Daugherty and her sister, Delores Fraker. She is survived by her brother, Roy (Mary) Daugherty of Douglas, Wyoming, brother in law , Michael (Mick) Fraker of Billings, Montana and children Phyllis (Dick) Hoopes of Sandy, Utah, David (Rose) May of Soldotna, Alaska, Marlene (Sam) Adkinson of Ocala, Florida, and Jonathon (Celene) May of Evansville, Indiana, 18 grandchildren, and 53 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, August 24, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, Midvale, UT, and on Thursday, August 25, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Sandy South Crescent Stake Center, 275 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held in Billings on Saturday, August 27, with interment in Bridger, Montana. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Goff Mortuary in Midvale, UT, and Smith Funeral Chapel in Billings, MT.
