June Iva Turner Johnson, 99, passed away on November 14, 2019 at home in South Jordan, Utah. She was born on June 1, 1920 in Taber, Alberta, Canada to William Eugene and Myrtle Turner. June married Glen Johnson on June 5, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a lifetime member of DUP, and an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple, teacher, counselor, and presidency member of the Relief Society in many wards. Worked at Hill Field, Ft. Douglas, and Beehive Clothing Mills.
Survived by daughters, Glenda (Richard) DeWolf and Lorraine Baldwin, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Les) Boutin, Austin, TX; and sister-in-law, Glenna (Carl) Turner, Coppell, TX. Preceded in death by husband, Glen J. Johnson; parents; siblings, Venoy, Wayne, Merlin, Carl, Melba, and Reid.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 22 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, with visitation at 11:30 a.m. and services at 12:00 Noon. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, CNA's, and counselors at Cornerstone and Symbii Hospice.
