Judy Hunter passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2020 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born on June 9, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arthur Walker and Alice Easthope Hunter. She grew up in Utah and later moved to Phoenix Arizona where she has lived for the last 35 years.

Judy was a voracious reader. She loved to knit and crochet and made beautiful blankets. Judy loved to watch the cooking channel and the food network but her favorite TV show was Bones.

Judy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she and her roommate read the Book of Mormon together every night. She worked for the church Distribution Center for over 20 years, retiring in 2015. She taught primary and relief society and was a great teacher. She served for many years as ward chorister and loved music. Judy loved everyone, especially her cats, and always reached out to others in kindness.

Judy is survived and loved by her twin sister Joyce and brother Dean Hunter, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gary and Paul, and sister Sharon Hunter. She will be dearly missed especially by her twin sister Joyce who talked with her daily on the phone and her roommate Melanie Larsen.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday the 6th of February at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S State Street, Midvale, Utah 84047. Viewing at 10:00 AM, funeral at 11:00 AM. Interment at Murray City Cemetery.

A memorial service is also being held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at 3102 N 18 Avenue in Phoenix, AZ.
