Judee Erskine

Judee Erskine was born a twin (Julee) on July 16, 1954 to Everett Earl Erskine and Dorothy Roxie Christsenson. She passed away on July 3, 2017 of multiple organ failure after a short illiness. Judee was kind and loving to her family and friends, ever concerned for their well-being. Judee was an active member of the LDS church. She had great faith in her Heavenly Father and the Savior. She is survived by her brother Earl (Karla) and her sisters Vicki (Ed), Karma (Rick), and Julee (George).

After the death of her parents at a very young age, Judee lived with Max and Wanda Bunker, good friends of the family. After a few years California became her home, where she lived with her Uncle Ralph (Harriet) Erskine, and their children, Karen, Lynn, Scott, Greg, Jerry, and Jeanie. She graduated from Costa Mesa High School in 1972 and attended Orange Coast College. She moved to Salt Lake City to be closer to family in 1976. She started working full time right after high school and her hard work and dedication would continue for 45 years. She was looking forward to retirement in July and living the life of leisure.

She had many jobs including University of Utah, and Evans & Sutherland, although Immersive Technologies provided the opportunity to travel and experience the world. She traveled to many foreign countries with family and friends in Europe, South America, and Australia. Her collections of souvenirs decorate her home and brought enjoyment to her everyday. Judee also loved road trips to any national park and monument in the United States and Canada. Her dogs Lu Lu, Lucee and Rosee were her babies. Lucee and Rosee are already missing her. They will remain with family members who will try to fill in their loss. Judee will be remember for her compassion and loving attention to all her friends and family. When she called you "friend," as she so often did, you knew that she would be there for you any time day or night. She made sure that you felt important and loved. She left all those she spoke with a smile. Judee made good conversation with anyone and could tell a great story. We all loved talking with Judee. She has left a legacy of love (the most important value of life). Wear some pink in honor of Judee.

Viewing will be held on Friday, July 7th from 6-8 pm at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale. Funeral will be held Saturday, July 8th, at 12:00 noon at the Midvale 7th Ward, 8350 S. Jackson St. (260 West), with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment, Gunnison, Utah City Cemetery on Monday, July 10 at 1:00 pm.
