Joyce T. Soto

West Jordan Utah - Joyce T. Soto, 58, passed away on February 18, 2016 at her home in West Jordan, Utah. She had been a long time resident of Utah.

Joyce was born in Wyoming on August 26, 1957 to James Wadlow and Helen Olah. She attended school in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from high school in 1976. She fell in love and married Javier Soto in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 31, 1981. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1990.

Joyce is a wonderful and extremely loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. I am saying she "is" because that is the way we will always remember her. We'll always remember her heart filled with love, enjoying the simple pleasures in life. Her vivacious spirit attracted many friends during her time in this world. She always expressed gratitude for those in her life. Joyce always marveled at the accomplishments of her daughters and grandchildren. Her personality and warm voice always filled up a room. She walked with her grandchildren while taking in the sun. Joyce had a passion for music and would sing along with her favorite artists such as Elvis. She leaves this mortal world and dances her way into heaven.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Angela (Philip) Balmores of Honolulu, Hawai`i; Jennifer (Nathan) Allred of West Jordan, Utah; two grandchildren, Aiden & L.J. Allred. She is survived by sisters: Gloria Ruble of Grandview, Missouri, Rosanne (Kim) Gentry Big Horn, Wyoming, Annette (Scott) Rossborough of Salt Lake City, Utah, Debbie Wadlow of Sheridan, Wyoming, two brothers: James (Susan) Wadlow of Kansas City, Missouri, John (Sue) Wadlow of West Valley City, Utah, along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are being held privately.

We would like to express gratitude and love for all those that have reached out and supported us during this difficult time.
