Joshua David Flowers

Joshua "Moose" David Flowers - A son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend born on April 08, 1980 passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2021.

Josh was born in Bakersfield, CA and spent 8 years of his childhood there before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah in the summer of 1989. Josh graduated from Granger High school in 1998. Josh as we all know is a HUGE car, truck, and anything with wheels lover. If he could take it apart, he was there! This turned into him spending most of his high school days ditching class with his buddies to spend time in the class he loved most, Auto Shop.

He was the middle child of 3 children (two sisters making him the only boy) raised by Stephen and Nancy Flowers. In 1994 he was ecstatic to find out that he now was not the only boy as a brother from his father's previous relationship joined his family. Josh married the love of his life Elizabeth on October 26, 2013. Josh will forever be remembered by his beloved children Angel Flowers, Traxton (TJ) Flowers, Hunter Flowers, Kayden Flowers, 2 sisters who love him very very much Mandy Hardinger (William Hardinger), Andrea Martinez (Kyle Martinez), and his brother Stephen Flowers (Kari Flowers), countless nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends he considered family and extended family who were blessed to spend time with him. Josh was preceded in death by his father Stephen John Flowers and grandparents David Lee Flowers and Elieen Mable Flowers.

From the day he could walk, if you looked for Josh, you'd find him in the dirt somewhere with his trucks, taking something apart or being tormented by his sisters. Some of the torment included making him perform songs for our parents during Christmas, playing barbies and having his favorite cars, toys and army men hidden. He loved spending time putting models together which led to his love for cars, trucks and all things that went VROOM! He loved his country music but was a lover of all kinds of music from Michael Jackson to Tech Nine. He even knew the words to some Backstreet Boys songs even though he may never admit it. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends, hunting and getting dirty! He spent a lot of time with his second family, Salt Valley Diesel, whom he loved very much spreading love and putting smiles on faces of those who needed a little lifting up while rolling coal and burning rubber wherever they went. Aside from his family, Josh's truck was his pride and joy. He dreamt about it for so long and never gave up until he reached his dream. Josh was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back to keep you warm or put on a wig to make you laugh without hesitation. He would drop whatever he was doing to lend a helping hand even if it was to just hold up a flashlight or make sure that the beer didn't go to waste.

Josh was very much like his dad and KNEW everyone no matter where he went. You couldn't take him anywhere. He always knew someone no matter where he went and if he didn't, by the time he left he had a new lifelong friend. Once you entered Josh's life, you were there permanently. He could meet you 1 time and he would treat you like he has known you for 10 years. If you drove a vehicle and had ANY issues with it there was a good chance Josh had something to do with getting it fixed. He never expected anything in return and was always the first to offer to help. Nine times out of ten he was at your house before you could even hang up the phone. Josh was loyal to a fault, and it was one of the best qualities about him. He had the ability to make you fall in love with him with his smile and generosity in .02 seconds.  Saying that Josh will be missed a lot is the biggest understatement because there are no words to express what he means to all of us. We love you Bubba! #flyhigh #bubba #joshywashy #moose #babyboy
