Joseph Hiller, 79, of Murray, Utah passed on Sunday, June 10th, 2018 after a brave battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia, PA to Joseph & Helen Hiller on December 9th, 1938. He was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School class of 1956 and Spring Garden Institute's Mechanical Engineering program class of 1958. After working thirty plus years and traveling the world as a computer programmer he decided to settle down and pursue his passion of cooking.
He moved out west and opened Delights of Ogden with his wife Shawna. He loved to spend his off time traveling to the national parks and historical sites out West with his wife and their Westies. He also loved their campsite at Pineview and tinkering with the latest technology. He was a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, and was a quiet man who did not say much, but when he did you listened.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Helen Hiller, as well as his stepmother Mable Hiller, and stepsister Mary Lou Forgacacic.
He is survived by his sister Marilyn Hoffman, loving wife Shawna (Tenney) Hiller, father of daughter Patti Hiller (George Sofield III), son Joseph Hiller (Tammy), attentive grandfather to Michael Hiller (Nicole), Tanya Rinkus (Dan), Melissa Black (Craig) & Joseph Hiller; great grandchildren Kayden, Emma, Kalaeb, Cooper, Carter, Carson and Bryce.
