Joseph Lenard Heugly

Joseph Lenard Heugly of Sandy, Utah passed away on October 19, 2019 at the age of 83 years from complications due to lung cancer.

Joe was born on July 16, 1936 to Wilford Livingston Heugly and Florida Wheat Heugly in Salt Lake City, Utah. Joe attended Olympus High School where he graduated in 1954. Joe was a proud veteran having served in the US Army. He was a natural salesperson in the building/construction profession until his retirement. He had a passion for woodworking, selling the many items he created and built throughout the valley. It is with saddened hearts that we mourn the passing of our Dad, friend and neighbor.

Joe is survived by his sons Greg, Brian (Paula), Jason, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and sisters Elaine Eldredge and Marlene (Morris) Anderson.

Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Jane, Edith, Bernice, Genieve, Mary Jean, Darlene, brother Wilford G, and grandson Jordan.

His Memorial will be held at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St. on Monday, October 28th, with viewing from 11 am-12 pm, and service at 12 pm.
