�SGT. Jose (Joe) Mercado Garcia Joe Garcia (1950 � 2016) was a loyal son to Alejandra �Cana� Mercado and Cosme Torres Garcia. A generous sibling to Gaudalupe Garcia, Maria Isabelle Sanchez, Jessie Garcia, Adam Garcia, and Oralia (Garcia) Diaz. He leaves behind his loving children Robert Garcia, Maria (Garcia) Solis, Tamara A. Garcia, Tanya L. Garcia and Tara Garcia. He was a wonderful grandfather to 13 grandchildren. Joe Garcia and Anita P. Tanguma started their lives together when they moved from Texas to Utah In 1975, due to his enlistment in the U.S. Army. He not only provided for his family by serving his country, He also worked in construction in which he loved along with mechanic work. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, camping, hiking, shooting his rifle, Nascar, the Denver Broncos, and WWE wrestling. However, his most favorite thing to do was to spend time with his dog Mokie. They was best friends and life lines. We loved the sunshine in his smile and kindness in his heart But heaven saw that he was tired which meant We had to part And now that it�s his time of passing Dear angels, hear our prayer please guard Him with your gentle wings and tend him with great care For he was someone wonderful and words just can Not convey how much we wish that he was here once more, With us today You will be greatly missed by all. You served your country very well and you provided for all that crossed your path even if it was just helping them with something you knew you could do. You were a strong hearted man.
