Jon has recently left us due to a fatal heart attack on May 4, 2017. He was born and raised in the Salt Lake City area and knew he would never leave. It had everything. Any landscape within a day's drive, skiing, fishing, camping, hockey (He loved the Grizzlies and Calgary Flames) and fantastic golf.
He enjoyed his activities but loved being productive. He attended Bingham High School and Utah State University in Logan.
He had a heart of gold and enough integrity to fill ten lifetimes.
Jon is survived by his mother, LeeAnn; his father, Darrell (Bin); brother, Ryan (Raygen, Alyssa, Quentin); sister, Jenny (Branden, Blakely, Oaklee, who was his little fishing buddy after he taught her how to fish); grandmother, Marge, who he was ever so helpful with and by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends and teammates.
Preceded in death by both grandfathers, a grandma and a nephew.
In closing, Jon was a family member, a rock, a friend and could hold every hat simultaneously.
A true talent for a true gentleman.
Long live the giggles, Jon.
Eternal Love.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at 915 E. Peach Blossom Drive (9100 South) in Sandy, with a meet and greet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
