Jon Earl Walker

Stockton Utah - Jon E. Walker, 65, our father, grandpa, son and brother passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the Salt Lake City V.A. Hospital due to complications with Multifocal Pneumonia. Dad was born on August 9, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George & Virginia Walker. He joined the Military in 1969 after graduating from Cyprus High School. Serving his country in the United States Army 101st Airborne. He was stationed in Fort Bragg, North Carolina and then Vietnam for 2 years. He married Debbie Tatro and together they had two sons, Jason A. Walker and Jarrod D. Walker, they later divorced. He worked as a car salesman and later had a landscaping business. Jon is survived by his sons, Jason (Michelle) Walker of Stockton UT, Jarrod (Julie) Walker of Duluth, MN. Brothers, Darrell Walker of S.L.C UT, Rick (Karen) Walker of Magna, UT. Stepmother Lee Walker of Magna, UT. Stepsisters, Shawna (Jay) Carlton of W.V.C, UT, Corinna (Troy) Belliston of Magna, UT. Grandchildren, Chrissy, Weston, Alexis and Dylan. Nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by Grandparents Duane & Erma Walker, parents George & Virginia Walker and baby grandson. Graveside services will be held on Friday August 11th at 10:00am at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery 17111 South Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale Utah. A celebration of life will be held on Friday August 11th following the services from 1:00pm-3:00pm at the VFW Club 9057 W Magna Main St.
