Johnny F. Wanner died on December 23, 2014.  He was born to John and Bertha Wanner on November 4, 1932 in Taylor, North Dakota.  He married Elizabeth Sarale on April 14, 1961.

He was a proud veteran after serving our country during the Korean conflict.  He was a long-haul truck driver for many years and later became a skilled dump truck operator; an occupation he enjoyed.  Johnny loved his garden and supplied family, friends, and neighbors with vegetables all summer.  His wife and parents preceded him in death.

Survived by siblings Janet Burk (Ken), Fred, Marvin, Lenora Schmidt, Donna Denney, and Sandy Shepherd, stepchildren Kristine Sargent and Steve Sarale (Marsha), four grandchildren, Rebecca Wood (Frédéric Latour), Daniel Lubkeman (Natalee), Chantel Jones (Troy), and Corbin Sarale (Shari), and four great-grandchildren, Stella and Violet Lubkeman, and Nathan and Hanna Jones.

Graveside service will be Friday, January 2, 2:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
