Joelene Smith

Nettie Joelene Smith, 78, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother, returned to be with her beloved husband on January 28, 2015 in Draper, Utah. She was born October 25, 1936 in Beaver, Utah to Ralph Burton and Nettie Elaine Twitchell Stewart. Joelene married Joseph Dale Smith on April 25, 1958 in Ely, Nevada, who she spent 50 wonderful years of marriage with. Dale passed away on Sept. 27, 2008. Joelene was a passionate wife, mother and grandmother. She never rested until everyone else was taken care of. Joelene loved doing crafts, and had the ability to create something special out of just about anything. Her other hobbies included sewing, crocheting, knitting, genealogy and working in the yard.

Survived by children, Derel Ralph Smith, Russell Scot Smith (Linda Kaye- deceased), Jeffery Dale Smith, Pamela Jo Mills (Darrell); eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brother, Larry Stewart; and sister, Diane Jensen.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

There will be a viewing Thursday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, Utah, and graveside services will be held Friday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. at the Paragonah Cemetery in Paragonah, Utah.
