Jody Hortin

We lost our sweet lady after a long and courageous battle with M.S.

She passed peacefully with her best friend, husband, and devoted caregiver by her side.

Born to Joseph and Kay Padjen on Oct. 18, 1958, and raised in Midvale with her two brothers.

Jody met the love of her life, Kirk Hortin, and they married on July 27, 1985. They were inseparable.

Jody's loves were her fur babies, the color purple, beloved Green Bay Packers and her amazing sense of humor.

She devoted 20 years of hard work to the Western Nut Co. before her illness forced her retirement.

Preceded in death by her sister "Baby Mary," parents, and brother Steven. Survived by husband Kirk Hortin, brother Mike Padjen (Sue), nieces and nephews, extended family, including her adopted son Soloman Awan.
