JoAnn Jenkins Pazell Johanson, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2018.
JoAnn was born on June 26, 1934 to Dell and Ruth Jenkins. She married Matt Pazell in 1956 and together they had two children, Paul (Hyon) Pazell and Joni (Scott) Satterlee.
They later divorced.
She then married Ross Johanson in 1980 and upon request, she refuses to be buried next to him.
Preceded in death by her parents Dell and Ruth and sister Kathy.
Survived by her children Paul and Joni and brother Harvey (Diane) Jenkins, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
A very special thank you to the wonderful people at Riverway Assisted Living and Hearts for Hospice.
Graveside services will be held Monday, Sept. 24 at 12 Noon at the Sandy City Cemetery, 9000 South 700 East. There will be a viewing at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, from 11-11:45 a.m.
