Joan E. Starlin

Joan Elizabeth Gallegos Boyd Starlin was born on May 24, 1939 to Clement L. Starlin and Genelle Askey Starlin. Joan attended Bountiful High School and graduated from BYU with a teaching degree, then began her career in Special Education until she retired from Jordan School District. She then devoted her time to her LDS Faith and her passion was Genealogy.

Joan is survived by her three step children whom she loved as her own, Bonnie (Bryan), Rick (Karen), Marie (Jim) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father and her first husband, Richard F Gallegos.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016 at the Midvale 8th Ward, 8350 S. Jackson Street. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah and 1 hour prior to the services on Friday, at the church. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
