Jessica Susan Robinson Wilson

Jessica Susan Robinson Wilson passed away in her home on August 21st, 2024. She was born October 23rd, 1978 to James Lynn Robinson and Pamela Lunt Robinson in Logan, UT. Immediately she was a welcomed addition to the young family. In 1980 she became an adoring big sister to her little sister Amanda. Again in 1982, she became a big sister to Alison. The Robinson family lived in Arizona for a little while during this time, but their true home was in Utah, with the rest of their family. Growing up Jessica and her sisters enjoyed going on trips with their parents, and spending time at Grandma Lunt’s home. They lived in Lehi from 1981 to 1993. They then moved to Alpine in 1993. Jessica graduated from American Fork High School in 1997.

Anyone that knew Jessica knew that she had super kind heart and was willing to help anyone that needed a hand. In 2000 Jessica was married, and from that marriage, in 2001, came her first child Nicholas Charles Robinson. Jessica always said despite all the things that that marriage entailed, she would never change a thing because it led her to her special son. In 2005 she married Mark Wiley, and from this marriage came her two wonderful sons, Chance Robert Wilson in 2006, and Alex James Wilson in 2008. Mark passed away in 2009, leaving Jessica devastated with two children under two to take care of. She always put her children’s wellbeing above her own and would do anything for them. In 2010, she reconnected with a long-lost love, Daniel Brian Wilson. On May 27, 2011, Daniel and her tied the knot. She had finally made it to the love of her life. Shortly thereafter Daniel adopted a young Chance and Alex and became the father that they’d lost. With Daniel being in the United States Air Force, the new Wilson family had moved to where Daniel was stationed, Mountain Home Idaho. From 2011 to 2023, the Wilson’s lived in Idaho, Kansas, Utah, and Louisiana. Each at the orders of the US military. In 2023, Daniel retired from the US Air Force with 20 years of honorable service. The family was finally able to return to their Utah home. Jessica was once and for all back to the place that she loved the most. In all the years that she was away, she endured and longed for her mountainous home where her family was. Jessica was as resilient as they come, dealing with so many adversities in her life. Through it all, she stuck to her character, and to her roots. She was such a wonderful person all throughout. She was a devoted wife, always willing to be by her best friend’s side. She was an incredible mother that spoke highly of all of her children. She wanted for them, a life that she struggled to have throughout time. One with comfort and no demons haunting them. No matter who you were, she attempted to show you kindness and love. Such a great attribute to have. Her sense of humor was amongst the best ever. Never could a moment seem dull with her around. She loved and lived for all things spooky and mysterious! She looked forward to Halloween and fall time every year. She loved celebrating her birthday around this holiday, as it was her favorite.

She is no longer suffering from the demons that haunted most of her adult life. She is now free of her bondages on this mortal plane.

Our mom, our sister, our daughter, our Jess, our wife, our aunt, and our gentle friend will greatly and deeply be missed. Her impact on us will follow us for the rest of time. May we look up on rainy day and think of and cherish her. We love you Jessica!

Jessica is preceded in death by her unborn son Kayden, her mother-in-law Verla Wilson, her grandma Berniece Lunt, her grandpa Kenneth Lunt, her grandma Betty Robinson, and her grandpa Robert Robinson.

She is survived by her parents James and Pamela Robinson, her husband Daniel Wilson, her mother and father-in-law Greg and Alex Wilson, her sons Nicholas Robinson (wife Taylor), Chance Wilson, Alex Wilson, her sisters Amanda Dunn (husband Corey), Alison Darby (husband Emery), her sister in law Wendy Hinckley (husband Spencer), her 6 nieces, and 1 nephew.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 28th at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., with a viewing starting at 10:00 AM and funeral services at 11:00 AM. After, the burial will be at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Redwood Rd., Bluffdale, UT.
