Jesse Sue (Wilde) Brierley

Our dear mother, daughter, sister and friend, Jesse Sue (Wilde) Brierley left our lives very unexpectedly on June 25th, 2022. Jesse was born in Coalville, Utah on March 16th, 1981 to Kirk F. Wilde and Susan Jacobson. She graduated North Summit High School in 1999 and later had her pride and joy, Sierra W. Brierley on May 1st, 2000. After Sierra's birth, she married Michael E. Brierley, later divorced. Jesse was always working so that she would be able to support her family without having to rely on others. However, during her time working at the Spring Chicken Inn, she made some of the most meaningful connections and memories that would last a lifetime. After moving in with her parents, Jesse added the roles of caretaker and chauffer to her already long list of duties. Every day was spent working, caring for her family and attending to others' needs. Yet, she never complained, expressed any regret or took time off for herself.

Her service to others was an inspiration to those who were lucky enough to witness it. Jesse was our rock and the glue that has held our family together. She was skilled at many things and could accomplish anything that she set her mind to. Jesse treated every person she met with love and dignity and was able to see the good in everyone. She cared for others as if they were her own kin. She has set such an example in our lives and was an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to grace her presence. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her only child, Sierra (Jacob), parents, Kirk and Susan Wilde, sisters, Madison and Megan Wilde, nephew, Weston Howard, and numerous loving, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandmother Jean Ann Jacobson. She was welcomed to the other side by her loving grandparents, Fred and Ruth Wilde and Grandpa Roy Jacobson, cousin Jennafer Jacobson and brother-in-law, Andrew L. Brierley.

Graveside services will be on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11 AM the Coalville Cemetery to honor our beloved Jesse, with a Luncheon to follow.

The family extends their thanks to Summit County ambulance, life flight and caring staff of the University of Utah hospital, and Goff Mortuary.
