Jenny LaDean Sims left this earthly life on November 30, 2014. She was born September 4, 1971 Rexburg, Idaho. It only took a moment in Jenny's presence to recognize that you were encountering a very special woman. Her boundless energy, her boisterous laugh, her generous hugs, and her consistently sunny disposition are only a few of the reasons that we love her. Jenny was the kind of person who noticed and deeply appreciated the seemingly small things in life. She was the life of the party, she loved to host gatherings, and the role was one that she naturally fell into. She was a powerhouse. She had an astounding ability to simply handle whatever came her way, or the way of anyone that she cared for. She was constantly ensuring that those around her felt loved, supported, and taken care of. Her generosity of spirit extended far beyond her friends and family. Jenny was involved in many charities, including The Hearts and Hands Foundation, Quality Life Foundation, and the Food Bank. She spent time collecting needed items, and delivering them to the Navajo reservation in Arizona. She organized "Free Hug Days," just to brighten the day of strangers. She volunteered at the First United Methodist Church to serve homeless families. She was endlessly generous with her time and energy, always willing to take part in any project, especially projects that allowed her to help others. The multitudes of people whose lives have been positively impacted by Jenny's massive love and compassion are almost unfathomable. Jenny is survived by her beloved children; Daughter and best friend, Sarah Baum, Sons and loves of her life, Spencer Baum and Skylar Baum. Never have there been children more loved and revered by their Mother. Jenny is preceded in death by her Mother, Etta Mae Jones. We rest easily, knowing that the ripple created by Jenny will continue long after her life ends. Her family encourages everyone to take a lesson from Jenny's life, and simply love more. Do more for those around you. Be more for those who need it. We are all in this together, Jenny understood that, and lived it unequivocally every day of her life. Jenny's family wishes to thank the ICU nurses at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, for their efforts to make her last days as comfortable as possible.
