Jeff Rodela, born February 1st 1963, unexpectedly returned to the loving arms of his mother in the early hours of Saturday December 3rd, 2022. Born to Isaac Max and Bonnie Bliss Rodela, Jeff was raised in Kearns, UT. While growing up, you were more likely to find him on the side of a mountain hunting or on a lake fishing with his uncle Kelly Bowles, who was more like a brother to him. His favorite place in the world was Fish Lake, where our family spent many summers together.
Jeff listened to his music loud and lived his life unapologetically - always how he wanted to. He loved animals and would always say he liked them more than he liked most people, especially his own pets. He loved basketball and prepared for March Madness like it was Christmas.
Jeff loved his family. He always had your back, even if sometimes it turned out not to be the best decision. He brought his grand-daughter up as his own child from when she was six years old and dedicated his life to helping her grow and thrive. Ashley was the light of his life until the very end.
Jeff was preceded in death by his loving mother Bonnie Bliss Rodela and great-niece, Abigail Ann.
He is survived by his father Isaac Max; sister Jami (Craig); grand-daughter Ashley (Chris); nieces Spring and Breezy (Jake); and grand-nieces and nephews Scotty, Laney, Jacksen, and Melody.
Out of respect for his wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, our family asks that you please donate directly to St. George PAWS. Donations can be made at

In Jeff’s own words, “You better not cry when I die. No funeral either - just take a shot of Jack and light one up to remember me.”
