December 6, 1955 — February 5, 2020

Jeff "Goofy" Anderson

Our husband, father, papa, brother and friend passed from this earthly life Wednesday, February 5, 2020. He was born December 6 1955 to Gloria Capson and Kenneth Anderson in Salt Lake City. He graduated from Granite High in 1974. He married the love of his life on June 22, 1984, which was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He worked many years with power tools and big boy toys and knew more about them than anyone could imagine. He created many lifelong relationships with his co-workers and customers. He was the most kind-hearted man you could ever hope to meet. He would help anyone at the drop of a dime and never asked for anything in return.

He leaves behind his loving wife Betty Anderson, daughter Allie (Joe) Anderson and his proudest accomplishment to date, his granddaughter Oakley Anderson. Also, survived by 2 brothers, a sister and his nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed, but we know he is in a better place and is healed from any and all ailments he faced.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the Bennion Utah East Stake Center, 5980 South 1300 West, Taylorsville, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah and 1 hour prior to the service, at the church. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
