Jean Olson

Rhea Jean Livingston Olson, aged 80 years, of Moroni, Utah, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2020 after battling a long illness.

Jean was born May 7, 1940 in Moroni, Utah to Clifton Glenn Livingston and Minnie Irene Nielsen Livingston. She met the love of her life, Glade Olson, when they were 5 years old. They were married on October 4, 1957 in Moroni, Utah and later sealed in the Manti Utah Temple. They spent all of their 62 years together in Moroni, Utah where they raised their four children.

Jean loved her family above all things. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were often at her house. She was proud of her children's, grandchildren's, and great grandchildren's many accomplishments. Jean loved camping on the mountain, reading, sitting in the shade of trees in her yard, and bowling.

Jean is survived by her husband Glade; their daughter Janet Seely, Mount Pleasant, Utah; their daughter Marion (James) Kendall, Nephi, Utah; and their son Larry (Robin) Olson, Kaysville, Utah; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents Clifton and Minnie; her son Kirk L. Olson; her great grandson Jaiden Kirk Christensen; her siblings Afton Irene Poulson, Mary Valear Anderson, Clifton G Livingston Jr., Bernus France Livingston, Glade Jay Livingston, Marion May Livingston, and Maureen Fay Livingston; and her son-in-law Stanton Seely.

A graveside service will be held at the Moroni City Cemetery on Thursday August 27, 2020 at 11:00 am. Family and friends are invited to attend. Masks and social distancing are encouraged.
