Jason passed away unexpectedly of sudden cardiac arrest on June 29, 2015. He was born on April 28, 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jason graduated from Brighton High School and the University of Utah. He attained his Eagle Scout Award as a young man. A lover of the outdoors, Jason was an avid waterfowl hunter and expert fly fisherman. Jason's favorite place was the Lake Front Duck Club where he served as president for the past 15 years. He was greatly involved in wildlife management and conservation regarding his beloved duck club. Jason was employed in the health care industry, where he served many people. Jason's greatest love was his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lana and their sons, Scott and Ben; parents, Larry and Kathy; brother, Adam (Amy); in laws, Dave and Jan Lehmann; sisters in law, Janean (Kevin) Tucker, Kelli (Mike) Aiello, Lisa (Scott) Carroll; brother in law, David (Sheri) Lehmann; nieces and nephews. Jason will be remembered as a loyal friend with a caring and compassionate personality. He had many friends who called him brother. He will be deeply missed.
Upon Jason's request, there will be no funeral services, but family and friends may pay their respects at the Lehmann Residence, 1271 E. Siesta Drive (7485 S.), Cottonwood Heights, Utah, on Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at any Zions Bank in the name of Jason Kershaw. A celebration of life at the Lake Front Duck Club will be announced later in the year.
