Jason Hunt

Jason Stewart Hunt, age 51, peacefully passed away on April 8th, 2023. He was born in Richfield, Utah, November 11th, 1971 to Duane Hunt and Judy Stewart. He lived most of his youthful years in Wayne County. At age 25 he met Taria Harward, and then they settled down into a new chapter of marriage and family, having three amazing children.

He lived a life of adventures most people will never experience. He believed he was the real life version of The Dukes of Hazzard. He left these memories to his family and friends through stories they will never forget, because he brought them to life. He was a jack of all trades, but most of all he had a passion for cars and logging. If you knew him he was always tinkering with things and could fix any problem you put in his path. If Jason could not fix it, then it was unfixable.

He was known for helping people no matter the situation, and was always the first call. Jason also took pride in providing for his family and passing down his endless knowledge. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him, but he left big boots that nobody can fill.

Survived by his wife: Taria; and children: Tristen (Karlie) Hunt, Brailee, Tishelle, Keisha, Trinity, and his brother Ron (Jennifer) Hunt.

Preceded in death by his parents; Duane, Judy Hunt; his sister Deb; and her kids Ben, Jenny, Jesse.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date for immediate family and friends.
