Janet Tavey Goldstrohm, 76, our loved and respected mother and grandma, passed away September 8, 2018.
Janet was born June 15, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul and Shirley Tavey. She graduated from Granite High School in 1960 and later married William Robert Goldstrohm on October 3, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had two children, Bill and Audra. Their family traveled and lived all over the world with the military, including Germany and Africa. When her husband retired, they moved back to Salt Lake City, to be near her grandchildren, which she loved dearly. Janet had a special relationship with each one of her grandchildren. She was a supportive cheerleader, showing up at their events.
Janet was a homemaker, office manager for Mountain Bell and several dental offices. She enjoyed golfing and had a love for flowers and gardening. She left this world as the most endearing mother and loving grandmother. Although she will be dearly missed, we know she will be reunited with her loved ones.
Survivors: brother Michael Tavey, sisters Sheryl Tavey and Diane Mower, children Bill (Misty) Goldstrohm, Audra (Jesse) Moore, grandchildren Brock, Summer, Cassidy Goldstrohm; Blake and Cole Moore. Preceded in death by her husband (William), brother (Steven), and parents.
