James Yancy Willoughby, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on November 18, 2020, in Coalville, Utah. Jim was born on January 29, 1971, to Lylette Willoughby and James L. Grauer in Safford, Arizona.
Jim married Devon Drew on April 13, 2009. Blending families together was a full time job in itself. Jim was proud of his eight children; Yancy, Alyssa, Amelia, Trinity, Shawnendoaha, Abigael, Alexanderia and Tristan and the joy they brought to him.
Growing up in Coalville, Jim was a cowboy at heart. One of his favorite things in life was being saddled up on a horse. Jim enjoyed the outdoors and was always up for a good laugh or a joke. Jim participated in 4-H and the Little Buckaroo Rodeos. He continued to share this love of the outdoors and cowboy ways with his children. Jim proudly served in the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge. Jim was also a member of the American Legion Post #93.
Jim will be deeply missed by his wife, Devon, his eight children, two sisters Dayna Farr and Shawnendoaha (Warren) Worsley, four nieces, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Lylette, father James and grandparents Lyle and Gertrude Willoughby and Milo and Lydia Grauer.
Private family services will be held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at any Zions Bank Branch under Jim's name.
