James Phillip Harris, Jr.

James Phillip Harris, Jr. February 11, 1961 � October 22, 2015 Our beloved Phillip passed away surrounded by his devoted family and close friends on October 22, 2015. He grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho and attended Bonneville High School. He gained further education in the electrical field and obtained his Journeymen�s license. Phil completed his career by working for the same company for more than 20 years. His first marriage produced two loving daughters, Jordanna and Kathleen. Phillip married Carmen Ampuero in 2008. Phillip was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and papa. Phillip had many cherished friends. He enjoyed outdoor recreational activities with his family and friends, including downhill skiing, motorcycling, fishing, camping, and especially four-wheeling. He is survived by his wife, Carmen, his daughters Jordanna Ogaard (Josh) and Kathleen Williams (Glenn), his step-children Ismael Medina (Tarra) and Juan Medina, Jr. (Jessica), his mother Dolorese Boero Harris Smoot, siblings Katie Harris Link, Earl Dustin�Smoot, and Angela Smoot Stites, and his beloved 10 grandchildren. Phillip was preceded in death by his father James P. Harris, his Nana, Grandpa Boero, and Grandpa Bill. A celebration of life for Phil will be held at Aspen Funeral Home, 459 West Universal Circle (9160 South), Sandy, Utah on October 30, 2015 from 6-8 pm.
