James Erwin Haltinner

On October 17th, 2019 James Erwin Haltinner passed away peacefully in his home, a place where he has enjoyed companionship with his special love Rachel and visits from family and friends.

James was born to Sharon and Erwin Haltinner in Redondo Beach, California on July 26, 1965 and joined the family along with siblings Dan and Judy. Kellie was yet to come. A short time later, the family moved to Utah where James lived the rest of his life.

In his early years he was very active and involved and always very happy. Later he enjoyed building, camping, biking, rock climbing, and being with friends. After graduating from Brighton High School, he started working fulltime for a glass company and eventually started his own business as a wood flooring installer.

Jim has one child, named Bailey, from an early marriage. He has enjoyed so much being her father. For the last eleven years, he has lived with Rachel, his special love and soul mate. A weekly date has always been a special part of their relationship.

Jim's family is grateful for the memories they have of him.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 23 at 11 a.m. at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
