Jack W. Molyneaux

Jack W. Molyneaux passed away unexpectedly on December 17, 2019 doing his final bread delivery in Richfield. Jack (61) was born on December 31, 1957 in Payson to Clark and Cleo (Simmons) Molyneaux. He was the third child of eight children. Jack's first 15 years were mostly spent in Mapleton. His family then moved to Mona to live on the family farm. Mona will always be "Home to the Molyneaux Family."

Jack attended Juab High School in Nephi, where he met his high school sweetheart, Cindy Bunker, the love of his life. They were married on July 9, 1977, and have been married for 42 years. They have 3 children Cody, Linzee-Jack, and Jake. They raised them in Mona until they relocated to Spanish Fork in 2000, where they have lived for the last 19 years.

Jack was considered a "Jack of all Trades." The family joke is that Cody is the brick baby meaning that when Cody was born, Jack was doing masonry work. Until recently you could have seen Jack's fine work when you were entering Mona. He built the "Welcome to Mona" signs, and also did the masonry work on his own home on the street dubbed "Molyneaux Lane."

Next, Linzee is the oil baby, Jack started working in the oil fields in Wyoming when Linzee was born, and would travel back and forth from home to Wyoming to provide for his family. Jack decided that wasn't the way to go, and wanted to be home more with his family.

Last but not least, that leads us to Jake. Jake is the bread baby. Jack started to work for Old Home/Sara Lee shortly before Jake was born. He would wake up in the middle of the night to make sure grocery stores and food franchises from Nephi to Richfield had their bread delivered and stocked daily. January 15, 2020 would have been his 35th anniversary working for Old Home/Sara Lee.

Jack lived by the motto, "First comes work, then comes play." Jack is an amazing example of hard work and providing for his family. He was dedicated to his family and supported his kids and grandkids in all that they did. He loved his wife, family and friends fiercely. When he took a break from his work, which was very rare, he made sure to have a good time.

We will miss Jack and the impact he had on all of our lives. When we think of Jack and our memories of him, you can bet most of them end with us all laughing at the funny things Jack was up to and saying.

Jack is survived by his wife Cindy, his children: Cody (Lacy), Linzee (Brandon) Gadd, Jake (Brantlee), ten grandchildren: Thomas Jack, Tessa, Jace, Nolan, Brielle, Boston, Dylan, Desirae, Deegan, Kasen. Jack is also survived by six siblings: Debbie (Curt) Adams, Randy (Sarah), Rhonda (Gordon) Jarrett, Scott (Melanie), Jill (Greg) Loader, Lesa Hyde, brother-in-law Shane (Dianna) Bunker, brother-in-law Michael (Tina) Belliston, sister-in-law Angie (Dan) Postelnicu, and step mother-in-law Karen Belliston. Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Cleo (Simmons) Molyneaux, his younger brother Steve Molyneaux, father-in-law Bryce J Bunker, mother-in-law Margene Story, step father-in-law Keith B Belliston, and step father-in-law Charles (Chuck) Story.

We will be celebrating Jack's life with a viewing on Sunday, December 22, 2019, from 6-8 p.m., and on December 23, 2019, an additional viewing at 9:45-10:45 a.m. followed by funeral services starting at 11:00 a.m. This will take place at "The Old Mona Church," 65 East 100 North, Mona, Utah.
