A celebration of Jack's life will be held at noon Saturday March 7, 2015, at Goff Mortuary where we will share stories and memories.
Jack's talent as an artist was evident early in life and he turned it to the creation of quality. From laying brick to tiling kitchens, woodwork on floors, siding on houses; to sketched murals on the walls of the washroom, his eye for perfection was evident in everything he created. The guitar seemed a natural part of him and he picked up songs and entertained himself and others for hours. An avid reader and careful thinker he was always up for a discussion of philosophy, science, or conspiracy.
Jack is survived by his mother LaRue Holt, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He joins his Sunny, the love of his life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a local charity.
Friend Chuck Tanner said it well:
I will always remember Jack as a builder, an artist, an astronomer, a poet, a gamer, a unicycler, a nun chucker, a negotiator, a philosopher, a conversationalist, a non-conformist, a fashion statement, a coinsure, a critic, a peace maker, a care taker, a skate board'n, motorcycle ride'n, wake board'n, corvette drive'n, guitar player and sometimes nay sayer, but always a friend. Until we meet again. Thanks for the memories.
