Jack Rulin Egan, 87, passed away on May 31, 2015 in Clearfield, Utah. He was born on May 15, 1928 in Nibley, Utah to Carlos Ransom and Olive Homer Egan.
Jack married Thelma Knighton on January 26, 1951 in the Logan Temple. She passed away on September 4, 1980. He married Carol Dymock on June 4, 1982 in Magna, Utah. She passed away on October 13, 1989. Jack married Claire Withey on September 24, 1993 in the Jordan River Temple. She passed away on January 12, 2007.
He was in the US Army during the Korean War. Jack worked for many years at Hill Air Force Base.
He enjoyed working in his woodshop and serving in the temple. Jack was a kind and gentle person.
Survived by his daughter, Dorothy (Al) Miller; 5 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren; brother, Doyle (Shirley) Egan; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and spouses.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Pheasant Point Ward, 3113 West 13400 South, Riverton, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah and 1 hour prior to the services, at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
