Ivan Dremin

On Sunday, January 23, 2022, Ivan Dremin, our loving father, brother, and great grandfather, passed away at age 82.

Ivan was born on July 2, 1939, in Russia, to Yuriy Dremin and Tatyana Dremina (Rtischeva). He was the oldest child. He spent a lot of his time helping his parents and helping raise his siblings. His parents played a special role for him.

He had an aptitude for figuring things out for himself and a passion for mechanical engineering since his young days. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering and worked in that field all his life. He was a hard worker and his perseverance to succeed reflected in his work ethic.

Ivan has lived in Russia most of his life and moved to the United States in 2007 at the age of 68. He loved spending his time reading books and gardening. He loved planting trees and taking care of them year after year.

Ivan was a very religious man. Since he has been a little boy, the entire village would come to their house and pray together. His faith was at the center of all that he did and believed.

He is survived by his daughters, Lydia and Irina, son, Veniamin, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild and extended family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 27 at 1:00 pm at the Salt Lake Cemetery.  There will be a viewing one hour prior to the services.
