Isaac Max Rodela

Isaac “Max” Rodela, 88, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, of natural causes. He was born on February 14, 1936, in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico, to Max and Anita Rodela. He married the love of his life Bonnie Bliss Bowles on October 28, 1962.

He had a deep passion for cars, vintage items, and spending time browsing at Deseret Industries. A skilled steel fitter and welder for over 40 years, Max worked at Mark Steel Corporation and retired as an expert in his trade. His dedication to his work was evident in everything he did, and he took pride in the career he built.

In his later years, Max became an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he had the privilege of going through the temple with his beloved wife, Bonnie.

Isaac is survived by his daughter, Jami (Craig); grandchildren, Spring and Breezy (Jake); and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Scott, Laney, Jacksen, and Melody. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bonnie; his parents, Max and Anita Rodela; his sister, Josie; his son, Jeff; and his great-granddaughter, Abigail.

In honor of Max’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
