Hodge Eckert Nunnelly Lll

Hodge Eckert Nunnelly lll  66, passed away peacefully in his home on June 2nd, 2020.

His childhood consisted of hunting and fishing. After high school, he joined the Navy and served his country with pride. On July 14, 1978, he married his sweetheart, Kristine Johns, and started a family of their own having three wonderful kids, Shawn, Michelle, and Sherri.

Hodge enjoyed his life being around family and friends and of course his favorite companions his boxers! His favorite thing to do was to host barbecues and bring people together! He had many hobbies throughout his life. His favorites were fishing, woodworking, collecting, and making jelly. Hodge had a one of a kind personality that will be remembered and greatly missed by each and every person that had the privilege to meet him.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Jack Perry and Evelyn Perry (brother) Osie and his (sister) Dorinda. Survivors include three siblings: Drucilla (Dennis), Jackie (Mark), Marcus (Karen). Three children: Shawn (Rachell), Michelle (Jeffrey), Sherri (Brian) as well as four grandchildren: Gage, Kaily, Jackson, and Bryson.

A graveside service will be held on June 26th, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Payson, Utah Cemetery followed by a celebration of his life at his home in Nephi, Utah.
