Helen Teresa Albanese Haun, 95, passed away on June 16, 2015 in West Jordan, Utah. She was born on May 22, 1920 to Nicola Albanese and Olga Winona Johnson in Midvale, Utah. She grew up in Midvale and West Jordan and graduated from Jordan High.
She married Dell M. Haun on May 14, 1941 in West Jordan, Utah. They were sealed on December 14, 1972 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Mom was extremely talented and creative. She loved to sew. She blessed the lives of many with her blankets and quilts. Mom worked in the fabric department of JC Penny in Midvale for 35 years. She loved her customers and was happy to help with any sewing project.
Mom and Dad loved to travel and loved to garden. They enjoyed working in the temple together.
Mom especially loved her family; she was a great mom and a fun grandma. She had a special love for her sister, Lillian. Even though they lived many miles apart, they were very close.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Lillian. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Leslie) Haun and daughter, Margo (Randy) Cole; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Mom we will miss you.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 South 1300 West. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street.
