Heather Slagowski

Heather Slagowski, 44, of Sandy, UT, passed away peacefully with her parents and siblings by her side on March 20th, 2021.

Heather was born to Maria and Daniel Slagowski on May 28, 1976 in Evanston, WY. She was a daddy's girl from day one and her mom was her best friend. After attending Kearns High School, she graduated from Mountain West College with a travel and tourism degree. Heather raised two beautiful daughters, Shay and Morgan. She loves her babies with all her heart. Heather always knew how to brighten her girl's day, whether it was taking Shay to the mall, or taking Morgan to her favorite place to eat. Her girls are lucky to have such an amazing guardian angel to be watching over them. She loved to play games on her phone, crosswords, reading, and watching movies with her family. Her favorite thing to eat was mom's enchiladas and scones. Her favorite candy was laffy taffy and airheads, she loved chocolate covered grapes for dessert. Her favorite animal was a gorilla. She loved to host 4th and 24th of July parties and bbq at her house for the whole family. We will be continuing this tradition in her honor every year because it was her favorite time of year.

Heather is preceded in death by her brother Derrick and grandmother and grandfather Archuleta and Slagowski, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Heather is survived by her daughters Shay and Morgan, parents Maria and Daniel, and her siblings, Mark, Shelly (favorite sister) and Pinky, Danny and Rita, Larry and April, Clint and Erica, and all the nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her friend Chris Daniels.
