Harvey Jenkins

Harvey Dell Jenkins, 86, of West Jordan, Utah, passed away January 7th, after unexpected heart failure.

He was born November 12, 1936, to Delmar and Ruth Jenkins in Sandy, Utah. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1955, and married his high school sweetheart, Diane Dale, in 1957. Harvey and Diane went on to have two children, Sheryl and John.

Harvey was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He retired from his 35-year career as a sheet metal journeyman. He enjoyed horses, fishing, hunting, and especially time with his family. He was a temple worker at the Jordan River temple for three years, and enjoyed the calling.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; children Sheryl Pearson and John Jenkins (Sandi); grandchildren Cody Jenkins (Calli), Ty Pearson (Mary), Curtis Jenkins (Hanna), and Seth Pearson; great-grandchildren Pierce and Preston Jenkins (Cody).

Viewing will be held Friday, January 13th, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Goff Mortuary in Sandy, 8090 S State Street; Followed by a graveside service at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, 1950 E 10600 South.
