Harold Allen Henline, 86, of Taylorsville, Utah passed away on December 12, 2023 in Santaquin, Utah. Harold was born April 2, 1937 in Magna, Utah to William J. and Lillie Iola Patrick Henline. He graduated from Cyprus High School, where he was the student body president. He joined the U.S. Navy after high school as a machinist mate and crossed the Pacific ocean twice on a destroyer. He retired from Hercules after 35 years, where he worked as an engineer making nitroglycerin for rocket propellant. He built a home in Taylorsville, Utah, where he lived for 60 years. He was very meticulous and always kept his home, vehicles, and belongings in pristine condition. He was very intelligent and knew a little bit about everything. He could build or fix anything. He loved music and listening to it full blast. He was a very giving person and always willing to help anyone in need.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Raymond and William (Billy) Henline, and sister Geraldine Owen. He is survived by his wife Carol Tabone Henline of West Valley City, Utah, children Terry (Lewie) Henline of Auburn, California, Julie (Ryan) Lynn of Mona, Utah, and Jason (Loriene) Henline of Riverton, Utah, five grandchildren Sierra, Rylie, and Cole Lynn and Penelope and Rosalind Henline, and sisters Norrine McDonald, Pauline Archibald, and Peach (Fred) Austin.
The family would like to thank the staff of Seasons of Santaquin and First Choice Home Health & Hospice for the wonderful care and kindness they showed our dad.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., Goff Mortuary, 8090 S State St, Midvale, Utah with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, Utah. Condolences may be extended at www.goffmortuary.com.
