Halethea Ann (Orgill) Nez

Our beautiful mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend Halethea Ann (Orgill) Nez passed away on July 26, 2021 at her home in Mona.

Halethea was born on June 28, 1974 in Payson and grew up in Mona always surrounded by her countless friends especially Leasa and Jodie. She graduated High School at the Utah Valley Community College on December 11, 1992.

Halethea was married to Kenneth Demille and was later divorced. She met and fell in love with Salvador Chato Nez and they were married in her parents' home in Mona on November 11, 1999. Halethea was blessed to bring two beautiful and wonderful children into this marriage, the loves of her life Shandiin (21) and Tristan (18 soon to be 19), they still live in Mona. Halethea and her children have lived in various parts of the USA but finally came back to Mona to make her home thanks to her great friend and confidant Frank.

Halethea loved traveling, hiking and collecting rocks and arrowheads. Her most favorite place to be was the Mona Reservoir where her and her children spent countless hours.

Halethea is survived by her children Shandiin and Tristan, parents Rex and Linda Orgill of Mona, her sister Shelly and nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who will truly miss her wonderful wit, and contagious laugh. She is preceded in death by her husband Chato, her brother Derek, her niece Taylor and a great nephew Zion Everest.

We will be honoring and celebrating Halethea's life on August 7, 2021 at the Anderson Funeral Home (94 West 300 North, Nephi, Utah) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. All who knew her are welcome.
