Horacio Clarence Tafoya, 78, left this earth on June 2, 2015 to be with our little sister, Charlotte and our Heavenly Father. Clarence was the eldest child of five, born to Bonifacio Tafoya and Felicita Roybal Tafoya in Llano, New Mexico. He was raised in Minturn, Colorado. Clarence served in the Marine Corps. Married for 58 years to Lillian Martinez Tafoya. Together they raised five children, Cindy Sanderson, Annette (Keven) Davenport, Povie (Bruce) Arnold, only son, Clarence "Bo" (Kierstin) Tafoya and his baby, Margie Tafoya (Cliff Duncan). Clarence was the proud owner of CR Tafoya and Son Construction since 1972.
Survived by his wife, Lillian; his children; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Preceded in death by his daughter, Charlotte.
Friends and family are invited to say final goodbyes on Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, Midvale, Utah. Graveside services, Friday, June 5, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
