Gregory Ingram

Gregory Lamour Ingram passed away unexpectedly in his home on August 10, 2017. Greg was born on April 11, 1948 in Payson, UT to Dick Lamour Ingram and Iris Nadine Francom Ingram. He was the eldest of seven children, and spent his growing up years in Nephi, UT with summers in Soldier Summit, where he worked with his family on their sheep ranch. He always loved being in the mountains, and would spend time there whenever he was able to do so. At an early age, Greg showed a strong talent in art. He studied at the College of Southern Utah, earning a bachelor's degree in fine arts. He continued his artistic endeavors throughout his life, and was most often seen with a paintbrush of one kind or another in his hand, creating something beautiful. Greg was a hard worker, and a talented builder. His lively mind enabled him to see possibilities, and he worked hard to make those a reality. Greg started painting signs while he was still in college. He continued to do so for sometime on the side. He finally built Salt Creek Signs in its current location in 1983, and his sign and billboard business soon became very successful.

Greg was a do-er. If he saw something that needed attention or fixing, he fixed it. He was blessed with an eye for detail, and liked for things to be "right". He loved helping others and was very generous with his time.

Greg is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his children: Rhet, Keti, Jed, and Amber; his stepchildren Glenna, Deena, Nathan, Todd, Natalie, Spencer, Karen, and Jackson; his siblings Kevin Ingram (Vicki), Denise Clark (Jay) Scott Ingram (Jane), Karen Stephensen (Don), Troy Ingram (Marci), and Jared Ingram (Tina). He is also survived by; 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren on the way, and 17 step-grandchildren. Greg is preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Nadine Ingram; and his grand-daughter, Matye Don Ingram.

Greg will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He is loved by many, and his family is so thankful for the time they had to spend with him.
