Gregg Lynn Weaver

Gregg Lynn Weaver, 72, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024, at his home in Park City, Utah. He was born on January 19, 1952, in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Gregg was beloved by many for his quiet strength and generous spirit.

Gregg graduated from Chestnut Ridge High School before earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He embarked on a distinguished and successful career. While he would modestly tell you he worked as a plant manager (and he did), he was also an owner and vice president of Lane Enterprises, Inc. 

Outside of his professional life, Gregg was passionate about golf, often found on the links with friends and family. A devout foodie, he could be relied upon for restaurant recommendations almost anywhere. He was also known for his gift of assigning nicknames to those he loved, a testament to his personal warmth and quiet sense of humor.

Gregg is survived by his wife, Deborah; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Ben Veghte; grandchildren, Parker, Nora, and Adler Veghte; father and step-mother, Ned and Betty; and siblings, Duane, Beth Wishart, and Jill Fanning. His presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loved ones.
