Grace Howard

Grace Howard, 82, of Payson, Utah passed away August 20, 2021. She was surrounded by people that love her on both sides of the veil. She was the daughter of Ivan and Addie Howard. She was born in Nephi, Utah, March 31, 1939. She attended school in Nephi with her sister Georgia Lee, these two sisters were inseparable.

In 1976 she moved to Rexburg, Idaho to live by her big brother Bud Howard. She enjoyed working and spending time with friends. She moved back to Nephi in 2012 to live with her sister Kathleen Howard at Heritage Hills. The last 2 years she has resided in Payson, Utah at Parkway Health and Rehab where she was closer to family. Grace loved little children, was great at puzzles, arts and crafts, and would go out of her way to love a cat or pet a dog. Grace was loved deeply by those who knew her well. She was a blessing to those that were able to serve her. She was born a special spirit with special needs. She was able to connect uniquely with those around her.

Grace was not forgotten during this pandemic, she was often visited by her loved ones. You could find them at her bedroom window visiting, passing shakes, soda, candy, stuffed animals, puzzles and coloring books to help pass the time of not being able to have visitors.

She was blessed with 3 brothers and 9 sisters, Bud Howard, Glendale, AZ, Dee Arp, Mesa, AZ, Edna Jefferies, Tekoas, WA, Beth (Jerry) Jasper, American Fork, UT, Carol (Bob) Fausett, Vineyard, UT, Shirley Partridge, Delta, UT.

She was preceded in death by Bernice Webb, Bonnie Ogden, Kathleen Hunt, Georgia Lee Howard, Walt Howard, Lynn Howard, and her mother and father.

Grace was loved by many and she returned that love in her own special way. Thanks to all the Parkway Heath employees and friends for the special love and care they gave Grace.

Services will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home in Nephi, UT, Monday at 11:00 am, burial to follow at the Nephi cemetery.
