Gordon Robert (Bob) Mills

Gordon Robert Mills was born June 6, 1938 to Robert Ruland Mills and Sophia Margaret Buckley in Long Beach, CA. He died July 31, 2021 in Payson, UT.

Bob was a career Marine, and did 3 tours in the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic.

He met his Sweetheart Jeneil Davis in Seattle, WA and they married on Aug. 23, 1963, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Bob had numerous callings in the LDS church, including serving a Military mission with his wife in the Macon, GA mission, in the Hinesville area.

He lost his sweet wife on Sept. 11, 2015.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Melodee Mills Ward, his son, Brad (Teresa) Mills, and his grandchildren, Felicia (Dan) Robinson, Arina (Tyler) Wells, Cody Mills, Heidee Ward, Katelyn (Zach) Rojas, Austin Mills, Shyanne Mills and Zane Mills. He is also survived by 2 great-grandsons.

The family would like to thank the Central Utah Veterans Home in Payson, UT for taking such wonderful care of Dad for the last 3 years, especially the staff in the 900 hall.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, Aug. 5th from 6-8 PM at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St. Funeral on Friday, Aug. 6th at 12:30 PM, with additional viewing one hour beforehand.

Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
