Ginger P. Banks, 73, passed away on November 18, 2019 in Murray, Utah. She was born on January 10, 1946 in Murray, Utah. Ginger married Rodney Delbert Banks on January 29, 1979 in Elko, Nevada. The marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Young Women's and the Relief Society. Ginger enjoyed quilting, camping, gardening, visiting Yellowstone, playing card games and spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and nieces and nephews were her everything.
Survived by her husband, Rodney; children, Kellie (Michael) Burkey, Michele Evens and Craig (Kelly) Banks; grandchildren, Christian and Kayla Burkey; Tye (Brianna) and Drew (Shelby) Banks; siblings, Linda (Alan) Duvall and Nola (Bob) Philpot; and brother-in-law, Gary Xanthos. Preceded in death by her parents, Max and Arlene Smith Peterson, and sister, Julia Xanthos.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
