She was born in Pittsfield, MA on April 24, 1922 to Alice Q. Hughes and Edward M. Hughes. She had 2 Sisters, Edwina A. Hughes who died in 2009 and Sandra Hughes Cher now residing in FL.
Trudy grew up in FL, New York and MA. The family traveled back and forth during the year as her father was a chauffeur and was required to move about with his employer. Trudy graduated from St Paul's High School in Daytona FL. She always said she was a southern gal at heart because she loved the warm weather better than the cold winters of the North. She was a long time member of St Vincent de Paul Church in Lenox Dale. Mom's favorite past time was to plant and care for her Roses. She also loved animals and wanted so much to save them all from harm.
She met her husband, Peter in Lenox and they married in 1944. She worked at Lenox Machine Company as a payroll/clerical staff. They lived in Lenox Dale until they moved to Melbourne, FL after retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter, in 2005. They had 3 children: Keith Haven, deceased (2017), Christina A. Russell (John) of Connecticut and Michele Schneeweis (Joel) from Utah.
