Geneal Christensen Stowe

Geneal Christensen Stowe, affectionately known as Grandma Honey, 94, passed away February 8, 2025 at a care center in South Jordan, Utah. Born on May 19, 1930 in Escalante, Utah, she was the daughter of Loynel Christensen and Geneva Alvey Christensen. She later moved to Midvale, Utah and graduated from Jordan High School. She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church and had a firm belief and love of her Savior. She married Thomas J. Stowe on July 1, 1948. They had three children, Jeffery (Marilyn), Robby, and Connie (Bryan) Nash.

Her passion was her children and she spent years as a stay-at-home mom, later working in the Jordan School District. and retiring from the Utah Driver’s License Division. She was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She had a revolving door and opened her arms, heart, and home to her children and grandchildren whenever they had a need for safety, shelter, love, and nurturing. She was the rock in her family’s life and freely passed out back scratches, soft songs, milk, cookies and butterfly kisses.
