Garth F Brinkerhoff passed away April 4, 2017 at his home in SLC of natural causes. Garth was born 10/10/1957 in Salt Lake City, to Frank A and Maurine Morley Brinkerhoff. He was the youngest of 6 children and the only boy. He was a very social person and had a great sense of humor, a big heart, and always enjoyed a good laugh. Garth was very athletic and played basketball for Highland High School. he received may accolades and was eligible for a scholarship until a knee injury ended that life path for him. He was also a very avid golfer and loved watching all the sports, especially football. Garth had many talents, one of which was woodworking and worked as a skilled carpenter in Salt Lake most of his life. Before he passed he was working for Fed-Ex. He is survived by his mother, Maurine Brinkerhoff, sisters, Janice (Joe) Crookston of Colorado Springs, Jean (Jerry) Oswald of Salt Lake City, Jill (Ron) Corbitt of Boise, Margo (Mike) Bernard of St. George, Marlene (Larry) Myers of American fork, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father. Services will be held privately by the immediate family.
