Gail Oldham

Gail Stanley Oldham, 82, our loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on August 19, 2017 at his home in Sandy, Utah. He was born on November 15, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Stanley and Sadie Oldham. Gail married Linnae Lingwall on July 9, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple.

He retired from the Utah National Guard, 140th Field Artillery Battalion. Gail enjoyed golfing, going to Lake Powell and Mesa, Arizona and spending time with his wife and family. He was always the first to give a helping hand.

Survived by his wife, Linnae; children, GayLynne (Larry) Lambert, Gary (Angie) Oldham, Lori (Lewis) Gardner and Steven Oldham; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday evening and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
